Emily Pittman Photography

Emily: I grew up in Lawrenceville, GA but currently live in Statham, GA. My photography is based out of Craig Gum Studios in Athens, GA.

FETFAN: How did you get started and how long have you been in the industry?

Emily: I started out in 2012, photographing senior and children photos. When I decided I needed a little more something creative, I met Craig Gum and started working under him at his studio.

FETFAN: What is your favorite genre to work on and how did you discover it was what you are most passionate about?

Emily: I'm not sure what genre it would fit into, but I like my work to appear chaotic. I'm a full time mom along with being a photographer, and I feel like my images best express whats going on in my head. Life isn't always perfect, so I feel like my images show how messy and crazy life can get.

FETFAN: Do you have any projects your working on or coming up that you are looking forward to work on?

Emily: There are a few things in the works, but I don't want to release any information on it yet. I did just complete helping Ashley Breeden finish building a Tarot Card Deck with other photographers and models.

FETFAN: What is your ultimate goal for your career as an artist?

Emily: To create images that capture people whether in a positive or negative way. I just want my work to make people think.

FETFAN: Something a little more fun...Do you have any fetishes and how did you discover this side of yourself?

Emily: Well, you can ask my husband....

FETFAN: How would you best describe yourself using just 3 words?

Emily: Driven, Twisted, Brilliant AKA Fan.Freaking.Tastic.

Interview with Tara Tied I had the pleasure of working with Tara. Tara has a unique and versatile style about her modeling and works hard to deliver the concept at hand. I'm looking forward to working with her again in the near future. Artist's Statement: I have been an art nude and fetish model for about 5 years now. I got into modeling just for fun and it quickly blossomed into more than a hobby. Pin up style nudes and fetish are what I'm mostly known for, but I also shoot glamour and ...
