Rebequah Rose Irish Model Interview
Lots of love to Fet Fan Mag!

Photographer Tim Cully

FETFAN: How did you get started with modelling and how long have you been in the industry?

Rebequah Rose: My first request to do any modeling work was after a charity bus pull around my home town of Belfast in the aid of raising money for schools in poverty stricken areas around the world. It was by chance I was asked because the modelling agency across from the dinner I worked in needed more girls for the event. I was pretty flattered at heart (she chuckles).

FETFAN: Your work is definitely unique, how did you decide or how did you discover this side of you as a model?

Rebequah Rose: After the event, I found myself in a few of the local newspapers and was contacted later by some photographers requesting to shoot.

And so, I began to create my portfolio by shooting TF with photographers I'd admired the work of. Of course many models get plenty of different offers, soon forcing you into a decision of what level modelling your willing to do. I shoot everything from lifestyle to hardcore erotica, most of my favourite times are when I'm in the nude. At first it felt liberating, then I saw the effect of liberation I also had on others, only exciting me all the more!

FETFAN: What is your favourite category to model and why?

Rebequah Rose: Having always had a very over active imagination, it was easy for me to come up with different scenarios when modelling. I mean, no modelling set is enough for me without a story behind it. Photography alone didn't quite seem to truly capture the scene and 2 years into modelling video was introduced to my resume.
I love presenting, acting, and performing, be it for comedy or darker fetish projects. It just gets me going. I often wonder if I enjoy modelling fetish/acting or sex more!...Hmmmmm?! Nope I still can't decide! Hehe!

FETFAN: FETFAN Magazine is an alternative fine art nude magazine, but at the same time allowing artists to express themselves through their art. Fetishes are one of these forms. Do you have any fetishes that you have modelled or personally find interesting?

Rebequah Rose: All fetishes should be photographed, I wish my head had a camera in place of it to be honest!

I love to indulge in fantasy play, there is nothing more connecting than opening up to what drives your desires.

Sharing fantasies is a black-hole of sexual imagination, that opens so many new ways of thinking. I'm very dominant, so mostly I enjoy making sure my bed partners are worthy of my company. These challenges often range from foot feeding to pony play. And I simply love to transform men into women. Laughing and pleasure is my prerogative, but I'm aware that my intense giggles can come across a little psychotic when acting out such kinky deeds.
It's all a game to me, this game sure does turn me on though! (purrrhhh)

FETFAN: Nudes, fine art nudes, how do you feel about the concept and how do you prepare for this type of shoot?

Rebequah Rose: Fine art nudes are often quite romantically themed regardless of there location and I find that when doing my makeup it's best to keep it simple. Even in regards to dress sense, a simple famine accessory can be enough to tilt the image slightly more towards a glamour photography look. Some props perhaps for thrusting an innuendo to the vibe, like pearls or a multipurpose object that could also be used for sexual pleasure. Oh, how my brain twists things; and I know yours is just as unique so the possibilities are endless. My one tip to new models would be; pretend your a ballerina. Stretch like you've never stretched before, point your toes and make delicate poses with your hands and fingers. These tricks always work for fine art nude shooting. Oh yes, and make as many triangles as you can. (Posing in lots of dramatic angles like you have lost a passionate lover.)

FETFAN: Throughout your modelling I'm sure you have been to many different places, which have been your favorite and what kind of project were you working on?

Rebequah Rose: Every year I take a trip to Galithia in Spain, with my model friends and photographers. We get-to-it as soon as we arrive, creating videos and images in the hot beautiful locations. The area is full of locals who enjoy the natural side of life, playing in fresh-water streams, with no need for plastic slides like us British. Generally, when we go shooting it's all for creative enjoyment and testing purposes so lots of fun is had by all.
...No one said I couldn't bring my whip and chains to the beach!!

FETFAN: Is there anyone who has inspired your work?

Rebequah Rose: Betty Page will forever be a woman of inspiration. To do what you enjoy is the best thing you can do, its just finding the guts to do it in-front of an audience that is the cherry on top for any performer.

She revealed that in an age of sexual repression that a kind hearted and well brought up female can indulge in her on fantasies as much as any male. Being taken advantage of was never an option, she was taking advantage of the admirers and those who loved the scene as much as her.
I still watch her old movie clips and only wish there was more to make memory of her. A goddess in her own right and one I will always dream about.

I also have a deep interest in thrillers and horror stories. American Horror Stories is amazing and has definitely given me some gusto for creation this year!

FETFAN: Who is your favourite artist in the industry and why?

Rebequah Rose: Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk the creators of AHS and Glee have to be my favourite artists in the industry. I have such admiration for them and their work ethics and masterful TV shows.

Every season of AHS was so gripping and the characters make me want to join them in there extremely aesthetic yet horrific world of costume, fetish, gore and glamour.

FETFAN: When at a photo shoot, what do you love most about the experience and what do you find challenging as a model?

Rebequah Rose: Walking on set, trying to work out where I fit in and then realise that I'm the only naked body at the event. This happens regularly with me, as often I am booked to play the nude in music videos or an advert. OK I get the weird looks from the other cast members, but when they start to chat I think things settle down. It's funny how you can be suddenly judged as the bad guy just because you aren't dressed appropriately... Once they hear my ridiculous laugh they see my true colours. Honesty, I'm just a little softy. I was bullied as a teenager so nothing anyone says anymore really cuts deep. My friends are those who are allowed to hurt me, no one else has that right.

Photographer Tim Cully

FETFAN: How would you best describe yourself using just 3 words?

Rebequah Rose: Just drop your sNickers on the floor!
...nutty, sweet and dirty but still completely eatable!! (She licks her lips!)

FETFAN: What do you think your strongest feature is in modelling?

Rebequah Rose: I think I should pick my imagination and expression as I don't feel complete without an underlying story to tell. Being completely submerged in a character is like mediation to me. Who wants to be the same all the time anyway?! Having a vision to complete and evolve the task to the best of my ability makes me motivated to conquer the world!

Photographer Tim Cully

FETFAN: At the end of the day when all is done what are you most proud of?

Rebequah Rose: When I look through my portfolio and see all the different looks and styles I have had makes me proud. It also makes me think of that Mika song,

'I could be brown
I could be blue
I could be violet sky
I could be hurtful
I could be purple
I could be anything you like
Gotta be green
Gotta be mean
Gotta be everything more
Why don't you like me?
Why don't you like me?
Why don't you walk out the door!'

And like the song says, if you don't like it, just look the other way. I'm not hurting anyone, after all God made us this way and left us in the buff in the Garden of Eden to work it all out. Being true to myself is my goal in life whatever challenges come by, we're all individual in our outlook on life and I embrace every honest open mind that I find, in any condition.

FETFAN: If you would like to add a few words or anything else you would like to tell your fans please do so.

Rebequah Rose: No matter what you want in life, chase it. You have to live with yourself the longest, so make sure you enjoy what makes your brain tick!

I listen to peoples regrets and mostly they say what they never tried. It just proves that everthing is a learning curve and the sooner you get used to it, the sooner life will seem that little bit more simple to grasp.

This year I have teamed up with various music producers recording pop covers and songs from my personal collection. Performing burlesque strip tease acts and singing vintage jazz, blues & swing vocals.

"This cabaret compère is a devoted glamourpuss and professionalist."

When I began my burlesque I soon fell in with a film production company and a bondage furniture designer who wish to create a series of short films on crimes of passion showcasing bespoke one of prop pieces and hand made designer lingerie and restraint systems. Lets hope it brings me a 'thrilling' year!

...love and let live...
